Dr. Rodney Alexandre Ferreira Rodrigues
He holds a degree in Pharmacy from University of São Paulo (1986), a master's and a PhD from State University of Campinas and a postdoctoral degree from Queen's University Belfast. He was a member of the Thematic Technical Committee on Pharmacognosy of Brazilian Pharmacopoeia / ANVISA (09-2013), of the Advisory Committee on Medicinal Plants of CRF-SP (from 2012 to 2015) and of the Ethics Committee of UNICAMP (from 2014 to 2016). As a researcher at the Pluridisciplinary Research Center for Chemistry, Biology and Agriculture (CPQBA) at the University of Campinas, he works in the area of Chemistry of Natural Products, with an emphasis on formulations, nano- and microencapsulation in the following fields: cosmetics, veterinary, food and medicines. He was responsible for the Division of Chemistry of Natural Products from June, 2011 to May, 2014 and has been in the same position since 2015. He has also been a member of the Advisory Committee on Projects, Agreements and Contracts of CPQBA UNICAMP since 2015.
